for summer school to be over. one day is enough for me. i seriously want someone to take this freakin' class for me. it's stressing me out. but it shouldn't be so bad cause the prof seemed pretty cool. and i already have a friend in the class. i should be sleeping right now, or at least reading the first chapter in the book, but i'm not. instead i'm blogging about my day. i've been in work and class all day. i just wanna relax. i'm so happy there's no class on fridays. i wish i didn't have work either so i could go to the beach or hang out with mel or something. blahh. it's a good thing summer school's only a month. i need a new notebook. i wish i had better penmanship, then i'd actually enjoy taking notes. that reminds me, i need to go to like office depot or staples to buy a new notebook and acct paper. or whatever it's called. i already forgot.

Volkswagen's Polo Blue Motion: 62 MPG of Diesel-Sipping Fun

With gas prices heading for the statosphere (with no signs of coming down), Volkswagen is hoping that it's newest fuel-sipper will appeal to people wanting hybrid-like efficiency at a fraction of the price. The Polo Blue Motion, unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show back in February, gets about 62 mpg; while this isn't quite as breathtaking as some of the concepts we've seen (like the 157 mpg Loremo), it's available for sale now (in Germany). Perhaps the most appealing part of VW's new equation: the bottom line checks in at a shade under $20,000. According to Edmunds.com, this means that "hybrids may be in the limelight right now, but conventional diesels still hold the upper hand when the right measures are applied." Loremo AG Concept
The concept is refreshingly simple: make an ultra-efficient car that’s light, has exceptionally low drag, and sips diesel with a small engine. This is the Loremo AG, a car that is a combination of innovative technology and back-to-basics thinking. To be shown at the upcoming car show in Geneva, this German creation claims a fuel economy of 157 mpg with no fancy hybrid drive train, fuel cells, or plug in paraphernalia. Weighing less than a thousand pounds, the sporty rear-wheel drive 4-seater is designed to be maximally aerodynamic. The Loremo sports a modest 2-cylinder, 20 hp turbo diesel motor, has a top speed of 100 mph, and does 0-60 in ten seconds. If that sounds like less than elite performance, the anticipated $13,000 price tag should put it in a bit more perspective. a lot has been

going on, but i'm too lazy to blog about it. well maybe i will. i'm trying to save up to move out and buy a new car. i want a prius. i want to buy it on my own. i could beg and plead my dad to buy it, but i'm an adult now, and i just need to learn to manage my money. this will be good practice for the future. i need to not spend my money on food. lately i've been pretty good about it. i used to eat out EVERDAY, now it's just like every other day or once or twice a week. i'm also trying to avoid fast food. if i'm ever craving fast food, i try to get the healthiest thing on the menu, like a salad. but i'm a sucker for #2o at jack in the box. haha. if you don't know waht that is, then o well. i also wanted to avoid beef and rice. i'm doing an OK job. i don't eat as much rice anymore. and i try to eat chicken or fish instead of beef. but it's so HARD. i LOVE beef. :'( <-- my crying face.
